Before you start

Open the official Roblox experience so badge progress is recorded on the right account.

Check the badge name in-game before starting; several badges unlock from nearby depth milestones.

Keep enough Tokens for basic fill-speed and capacity upgrades before attempting late checkpoints.

Step-by-step walkthrough

Follow these steps in order. Each step is written so you can complete it in-game without watching a long video.

  1. 1

    Farm Tokens on the surface

Fill your bucket at the lake and drain at the station for Tokens. Early loops fund Skill Tree nodes that speed fill and capacity.

  2. 2

    Upgrade the loop

Use Tokens on capacity and collection speed, then spend Diamonds on a lobby bucket that fixes your bottleneck. Plastic adds fill speed; Metal adds capacity; Magnet improves and auto-collects Tokens.

  3. 3

    Push every depth checkpoint

Lower the water through Shipwreck (Sunken Secrets), Cavern (Deep Dive), Mineshaft (The Mines), Molten (Fire Below), Lost City (Ancient Ruins), and Abyss (Into the Abyss).

  4. 4

    Handle the Shark

From Cavern depth onward the Shark can catch you. Keep moving while filling; getting caught awards Shark Bait but wastes time.

  5. 5

    Trigger the Phone ending

Drain past the Abyss, approach the phone, and complete the ending interaction. The current official daily win rate is 26.4%.

Detailed notes

A realistic first-clear setup

Easy co-op is the cleanest first-clear route because every player contributes to the same water level. RoBros' three-player Easy run displayed a 15:39 completion, while FoltynPlays' solo Medium run displayed about 27 minutes at the ending. Treat those as examples rather than guaranteed times.

For solo play, keep capacity and collection speed balanced, claim chests for bucket Diamonds, and use the surface teleport after deep fills. The ending does not require a premium or limited bucket.

How to avoid losing time at depth

Activate every checkpoint platform before returning to the station. Hold the fill input instead of clicking repeatedly, and teleport to the surface rather than climbing from Cavern, Mineshaft, Molten, Lost City, or Abyss.

When the Shark appears, move laterally while filling and return to land if it closes the gap. An intentional first catch can earn Shark Bait, but repeated bites are unnecessary for the Phone route.

What actually triggers the ending

The lake must be drained beyond the Abyss until the phone is exposed at the bottom. Approach it and complete the interaction/cutscene; simply reaching Abyss awards Into the Abyss but does not award Find My Phone.

Both reviewed full gameplay videos show the phone interaction at the end, and the official badge description confirms the condition as unlocking the Phone ending.

Pro tips

  • Use Easy co-op for the first completion.
  • Hold to fill and teleport to the surface after deep scoops.
  • Claim chest and badge Diamonds before visiting the bucket shop.
  • Activate Abyss, then continue until the phone itself is exposed.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • !Stopping after Into the Abyss and expecting the ending badge.
  • !Climbing back from deep layers instead of teleporting.
  • !Spending Robux on 250L drains before testing normal upgrades and co-op.
  • !Treating the daily win rate as the lifetime percentage of all players.
